I'd just like to say that Blade 2 looks like its going to kick so much ass when it is finally released I'm almost drooling at the prospect! The first Blade had everthing in my opinion: vampires, guns, swords, kick-ass martial arts, long swishy coated hero (always a bonus) and cool characters. The sequel looks set to keep the high standards set by the first and maybe even beat them. I've just gotta go downtown...need some serum.

one thing that I hope is avoided is the almost obligatry 'wire-fu' that has popped up since crouching tiger. Personally I dislike this as it takes all the fun out of martial arts battles. Blows seem to lack impact and become very 'Martial Law' esque, I hate it. I know its supposed to be fantasy but I prefer it to at least have a reason. The Matrix used this technique but sparingly and gave a good reason for its use (i.e. bending the rules), it also found its way into 'Romeo must Die' when it had no place in their at all. The fight in the original Blade were superfly-keep them like they were! PLEASE ;D

Really? I had heard the plot for Blade 3 was about that huge FLY half the size of that building from Blade (1). Why else would it be in there? Sorry.
