Are any of you lot hoping for anything from the upcoming animated series???
I know a lot of you wanted a Manga style Cartoon but what would be the point in targeting an audience the show already fills?
I just want to know what you lot think.
I will most likely watch it anyway, I mean I love cartoons what can be better than watching hours of Scooby Doo, Simpsons, Futurama, Dexters Lab or Johnny Bravo. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Me like cartoons too! ;D Problem is I just can't see it working too well. Firstly if it being aimed at the sproggs how can it maintain the level of action that it currently contains? Surely it is too violent for kiddies. Second, I have read that they want to keep all the actors together and do the voices for the characters. I don't see that happening somehow, Sarah Michelle Gellar will have too large a movie schedule to voice cartoon scripts, ASH will possibly still be over here if Ripper does well so he is ruled out. I can't see them being arsed to do this in two or three years time nevermind in five or ten years time which is how long some cartoons last (scooby doo and the simpsons right?) So it is possible that we could end up with a show with none of the original actors in it and with a bunch of really crap soundalikes that would just bring the quality right down and piss me off to no end. Cause' if your not gonna do it properly then what is the point?

The Co-Executive Producer of Buffy Marti Noxon has said that all the Cast will provide their own voices in the upcoming Animated Series of Buffy. One of the surprising things is that they want to do it. I assume that someone told them how much they would earn an episode.

Are we talking 'Friends' kind of money?

I hope that was a joke!
The whole cast of Buffy for one episode is still a hell of a lot less than what one member of the cast of "Friends" gets.
I mean Sarah's only on something like $50,000 an episode now. I mean not exactly a lot of money in TV Land is it!

It's frankly a crime what the cast of Friends get per episode, especially when you consider what the Buffy cast get. I know they aren't on peanuts or anything but if they get paid on the basis of talent the Buffy wages should be way higher. Who could possibly say that David Shwimmer ( I haven't a clue how to spell his name ) has a better range and is a better actor than James Marsters or Tony Head? There is frankly no way that Lisa Kudrow is a better actress than Sarah Michelle Gellar. I think any member of the Btvs cast could out perform the superstars in Friends, what do you think people? Are the money-grabbing Friends cast superior actors to our beloved Buffy thesps? (I am aware that this is a very loaded question seeing as this is a B&A board )

I agree with you on Matt LeBlanc (Joey), he gets some amusing lines in the show and 'Lost in Space' wasn't so bad. Although I haven't seen him in anything else The others are kack though

I like it when I disagree with people.
I hate Matt LeBlanc, Joey is poo.
Matthew Perry (Chandler) is the only one in the "Friends" cast who is any good. He is funny, his character is funny and his movies are ok. WellI like "The Whole Nine Yards" anyway.
P.S "Lost in Space" is a pile of poo and to cap that it had a stupid OTT Baddie! Terrible!
