8)I know what I am about to do is commit sacrilage folks but I was wondering a big WHAT IF the cast was not made up of our favourite and talanted actors but another assortment eh?
Think of it as a mental workout with a nice old twist of the same yet not the same . Go ahead give it a try , I know u want to !

I think he could add a sense of wisedom and a touch of cynical sarcasm . Plus playing sinister baddies comes in usefull when he goes Ripper on some 1 .

I have been sitting here for about ten minutes wondering who I would change.
My answer is that I wouldn't change a single cast member.
Sarah is a perfect choice as Buffy, she plays the character perfectly with the highs and the many many many lows.
For me it seems like it was fate for Tony to play Giles. A brilliant English Actor who just shines in the episodes "Passion" and "Becoming Part 2"
The Casting Director of both Buffy and Angel should get a lot of our praise just look at the talented actors who play the parts of our fav characters.
P.S Is there a (so called) Buffy fan out there willing to re-cast Spike???

An interesting side note is that James Marsters auditioned for Angel apparently (it was on a dodgy site site I heard this though). Can you imagine what it would be like if James was Angel not our favourite bad-ass bloodsucker?  Even worse is the idea of David Boreanez as Spike(lol)!! David's Irish accent is frankly awful (lol for about half an hour) and I would find his English accent an insult probably. Sound bite from 'Fool for Love': You've got me and muy wumen hidin in de luckshery of a mineshaaaft. (lol lol lol lol) What about 'Hugh Grant' as Season 3 Wesley? as no-one does bumbling English tosspiece better.  |
