Ok so Angel has called his kid Connor (Full name Connor Angel, they had to give a last name at the hospital, Angel wasnt there!)

For me its a bit too Terminator-wise. The miracle kid named Connor? Saviour for the planet? Or maybe its destruction. Anyway I expect Arnie to come in a few episodes time and say "Come with me if you want to live."

What would you have called the kid?

hey thats a good idea, imagine a arnie in buffy, lol, i can see him now walking around going "arr you bastard" and really great lines like "i want your clothes,your boots and your motorcycle"

back on the name thing, no matter what name is given not everyone would like is, i mean is gould have been called sam or dave, or barthanial not everyone will like but i think connor is cool so i would keep it the same... or maybe called him Marklar   ;D (keep it simple)
