What do you want from Season Six??

What would you like to see in Season Six of Buffy??

Would you like to see a character brought back? Maybe a Big Bad to return or an interesting Character development.

Well just give us what direction you want to see the show go.

There are many things that I would like to see in the upcoming season Buffy but the thing I would like most of all is if Joss+crew come create a truly great big bad.

I want an epic kind of bad guy in the Master, Angelus, Spike & Dru mode, someone with a bit of history that helps us like the character even more, draws us in and keeps our attention hooked to whatever happens next in the expanding story arc of the season.

I feel that since season two the Big Bads have kind of sucked. Adam, what? Glory, wow shes hard, big deal, that's not what make a big bad truly bad it's the rest of the character that maintains the interest, what do they do when they aren't fighting buffy. Spike had Dru, Angelus had tourturing Buffy and wearing leather pants, and the master had the annointed one. What the hell has Glory got? Taking baths and acting really dumb, wow, don't confuse us with the character development too much fellas you know I can't keep up.

The saving grace is the mayor, he wasn't great but (to steal a line from Pulp fiction) he had personality, and personality goes a long way. The mayor was actually interesting and quite humorous at times, I liked him (plus he had Faith, which is always a bonus in my book).

I know Joss+crew have some good stuff left for us bvts fans and I believe they can still make characters who will last more than one season.

Like most Buffy fans i want to see Faith return.

I miss her :'(and really wanna see another big Buffy and Faith showdown, but i dont think we will get it cause of her busy schedule and you know, the fact that she's in jail.

We can only hope.

I want some questions answered in seson six.

Kendra was called when Buffy died right..

So Buffy died again right (for those of you I have just ruined season five for this is the spoiler section!!) in the gift...

Will another slayer be called...

Will we now have three slayers on the scene...

Also slayers are really strong right, so are vampires, what would happen if a slayer was turned by our friendly neighbourhood vampires? Would she be the hardest thing the world had ever seen?

A thought that had occured to me, too (see my posting Slayer as Vampire).  So it must be a thought that has occured to lots of people, hopefully including some scriptwriters.

What I want is something that leaves me gobsmacked by its unexpected audacity.  Like the Slayer finding herself fighting a god.  Or falling in love with a vampire.  Or refusing to save the world if it means killing her sister.

Something as exciting as that.  If I could think of ideas that good, I would be earning a fortune writing scripts.

And let's not forget character development.  If you don't like the people, you don't watch the series.

I do like the people, and I do watch the series, vehemontly.

I have a ceaseless unending passion for everything and anything that is Buffy. I love it and it is big (and good) part of my life.

I adore the characters and can't wait for the next episode to air (which is usually some considerable time on the BBC).

From your post Arner you seem to have already been completely satisfied by the recent plotlines, which is great, I was just saying what I would like to see in season six.

(hell, the idea of buffy falling in love with a vampire is a part of the show which got me hooked, it's cool and it is possibly happening again (I hope), we live in awe)

No one's completely satisfied.  There are rubbish episodes.  But my rubbish might be your delight.  For instance I thought Glory was an amazing idea.  A baddy who made you feel sorry for her mental illness as she crumbles into madness - but only for a moment, then she demonstrated her complete self-involvement again.  If I could only stay sane by sucking out your mind, would I do it?  Yes, If I could I think maybe I would.  Because I'm more important than you, right?  At least, I am to me.

Also the dramatic irony when our trapped heroes hit rock bottom and get saved by Glory was definitely one of those moments you want to savour.  I won't say more because I don't want to spoil it for people who are still waiting to see the end of Series 5.

I can see everyones points tho (no your trousers arnt falling down) its hard ot create a chracter that everyone likes, i mean take rouges obsession with riley, he wasnt exactly a great success with all the fans but those who liked him loved him, but the prospect of having a trio slayer punch up grabs my interest...
but one thing i would really like to see is willow finding her full powers, then that might lead to buffy being determined to become stronger... but one major thingi would like is that vamps arnt as dumb i mean they have become really sissie like. apart from the few vamps are f*ggs i wanna see some mega ones say old skewl vamps with strage exotic skills. but thats just my mind wandering...

I wouldn't call it an obsession, I just liked the guy.
I mean just cause I had my hair cut like him and coloured it blonde and now walk round in Amry trousers and tight black t-shirts is just a pure coincedence.
