2003 will be a great year for the Hollywood Box Office, but I wanna know is what movie are u really looking forward to?? Here's a few suggestions of BIG Box Office Movies out in 2003: Daredevil X-Men 2 The Matrix : Reloaded The Matrix : Revolutions The Hulk Kill Bill Lord of the Rings : The Return of The King Finding Nemo Terminator 3 The Italian Job Tomb Raider 2 Bad Boys 2 American Wedding : American Pie 3 So thats just a short list of Blockbusters out this year. Which one is going to do it for you? I must admit, loved The Two Towers so THE RETURN OF THE KING is pretty high on that list. The ending is amazing and I will love to see it played out on the big screen. The Matrix will also be fantastic. Its will be interesting to see if they can follow up the original but lets hope. X-Men 2 looks cool, I am liking Daredevil by the day at the moment, the trailer kicks ass, the soundtrack is amazing and the have promised us a dark superhero movie, could be a classic. Much of The Hulk remains a mystery so until then. The trailer for KILL BILL looks amazing, very different but it's just loaded with Tarantino class. Then we have T:3 if it can be half as good as the first two then it will be a success. There you go, cant give u any real choice cause I will probably come out of 2003 with so much to pick from, then such art-house movies. But this year looks amazing and already 2004 looks set to be just as good with The Amazing Spider Man Superman : Part One (of 3) Harry Potter 3 Harry Potter 4 already getting ready to begin shooting.

2003 year of the box office? more like year o' da fockin buckwitz Anyone else noticing a pattern here? sequels baby, get those bums on seats this summer, I can see the studio execs sucking on a large cuban right now, and having a cigar afterwards...I digress, sorry ;D Ben Affleck is so not leading man material-pearl harbour anyone? lets see if he can stink up the theatres this summer in..."Daredevil-The man without charisma". Not seen much for The Hulk yet so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut for a bit. Lets hope X-men is a better movie this time around. The first one wasn't bad but it was just so damn flat. Here you've got some of the most exciting, flamboyant, colourful, deep characters with years of background material to draw from and he came up with that movie?!? Sorry been reading these comics a lot o' years and was hoping for just so much more. This time round it needs to be ten times as athletic (whisper it but these guys are 'super' heroes Brian) colourful, emotional...just make it interesting please T3 looks super cheese, which might be good. Also keeping judgement reserved. SO hoping that the Matrix kicks ass this year, please GOD make it damn good. Peter Jackson seems to have left himself a hell of a lot to do in the final chapter of LOTR, lets hope it delivers without it needing to be 4 hours or longer Genuinely intrigued by Kill Bill. Been a while since Tarantino has appeared on my radar on choosing a Hong Kong esque action flick is always gonna get my vote. Uma Thurmans' a good choice for this I think she has actual acting ability-I like her. This movie reportedly has several throwback references to Bruce Lee anyone who knows me should know I'll love that to bits. Kudos for KIll Bill Fock remakes of britflicks ie get carter, italian job etc Fock Will Smiths' ego, whens he gonna do a proper movie again like six degrees of seperation, apart from Ali he's not done that much worth remembering oh yeah and a special one for 2004 - fock Harry Motherf*cking Potter baby, in the ass, sideways

2003 will be the year of the Box Office, its just that simple.
This year will see record breaking amounts being taken, if we like them or not.
I must admit Mephisto, your opinion of Daredevil does indeed suprise me. As of late the trailers have been great and the new one really does kick ass. I am quite looking forward to seeing it on the 14th now. And I do think that maybe I have to disagree also with the Ben Affleck thing. Pearl Harbour may not have been great I do agree, but I think Ben does have what it takes to be the leading man. I think "The Sum of All Fears" has shown that. He's a big and still young Hollywood star and I dont think we have seen the best of him yet, but what he has done so far brought him a very good "wanted" price.
I may not be looking forward to every "Big" movie this year (To be honest from a film student point of view I really want to see "Irreversible" out soon) but the big fat cats at the studios will be filling their pockets up very well this year.

My Daredevil opinion isnt all the movies fault really, the actual comic was abit dull in my opinion, plus BA isn't that great an actor. Even with the greatest source material, adaptations can be craptacular so I'll be pleasantly surprised if its actually a good movie. Hell I wanna be surprised, if everything went to my expectations in movies and tv things would be pretty boring. BA works very well opposite Matt Damon but when they are seperated his choices just leave me cold (*cough* Deception, Bounce*cough*). Plus its gotta be annoying that his bezzie mate is a better actor, check out the Bourne Identity, that's a cool spy flick . Records will probably be set this year, the scorpion king shows that you dont need a good movie to make a load o' cash. Irreversible sounds kinda hard to watch, I don't mean hard to understand, more physically makes you feel freaked out, curious. ps Oh yeah I heard that Ed Norton doesnt wanna be in the Italian Job, he signed a three picture deal and now hes focked into doing it, anyone know anything here?
