Buffy has been bitten at least three times: by the Master, by Angel and by Dracula. Now, there must have been a less lucky Slayer who got sucked all the way into vamp-hood. You have to die to become a vampire, so the new Slayer would be called, no problem.
But what about the Slayer who is now a vampire? Would she be double-tough? Would she still want to kill vampires? Would she pursue future Slayers? Wow, there might be hundreds of fanged ex-Slayers out there.

If there was a Slayer who was also a Vamp we would have heard about it by now.
They dont seem to want to turn Slayers just kill them. A perfect example of this is Spike in "Fool For Love." If Vamps really wanted to turn Buffy they would try the Master & Angelus had perfect chances. Plus if you watch the Drac episode again he aint trying to turn her either...

I think you're wrong about Dracula, he is after Buffy's soul, but he wants to "establish a connection" first. The suck-fest which he does tease her into is a dry run for the real thing, and I think he believed that the swapping of body fluids would bring Buffy further under his thrall, clearing the path for the big scene. You may be right that there are no Slayer Vampires, but I prefer to remember that Giles knows becoming a vampire is one of Buffy's nightmares. Perhaps he failed to mention her vamped forerunners because he did not want to freak her out. As for Spike, he wants to kill slayers - not even always to suck them. But other vampires will have different obsessions. Yes?

I have got to disagree with you on the Dracula storyline. I really dont think he wanted to turn her. I do believe however that he was trying to show how powerful she is and that she could use it for evil (a bit like the "The Empire Strikes Back" with Luke) From what we already know of Dracula anyway he aint like other Vampires he doesnt turn people here and there. We have also seen that he likes to make more of a connection through lust and passion rather than turning his desired and forcing them to remain with him forever...

I 've noticed a Buffy comic that features a Slayer that was turned into a vampire if anybody is interested and she comes after Buffy! I know a lot of people turn their noses up at comic's dismissing them for kiddies but I think they are great way to explore possible storylines or questions that the show leaves unanswered. And lets not forget that not only has James Marsters co-authored a Buffy comic himself but also Joss is releasing a Buffy comic called 'Fray' featuring a future slayer (if it ever comes out over here! ) so they're not just for young 'uns.
