What do you think of Willow and Tara's relationship? I think Willow and Tara are perfect together, they have so much love for each other. I love both of them so much. Willow for being sweet and loving. Tara for being shy, only confident around Willow, and so loving too. It's not just their looks which attracted them to each other, although they both are extreamly beautiful and sexy too, it was also that they had so much in common, eg Wicca, they clicked the first time they met, they are so powerful together, they have similar personality qualities and they both, like eveyone else, needs love.

I agree with you 100% I would much rather have Willow & Tara than Willow & Oz. Willow and Tara just look so good together.
One problem I do have with it is those fans out there who just wont accept it. I can remember after "The Body" aired there was load of messages of how people were disgusted by their kiss.
Oh please people get over it. Jesus Christ. It really annoys me that in this day of age there are still millions and millions of homophobics out there. People have a right to be whatever they want so just get over it. Joss has taken a brilliant subject and I hope that the end product is that it makes homosexuality less taboo.

I too agree with you on the Willow & Tara relationship. They are a natural couple and it shouldn't matter at all that they are of the same gender. Some of the scenes of their relationship developing have been highlights of seasons four and five with real emotional content. If you thought people had a hard time accepting a lesbian relationship on a popular show like bvts can you imagine what it would be like if their was a gay relationship between two men? Everybody would be in uproar in the UK and US and no doubt their would be thousands of homophobics shouting from the rooftops about how this show is 'corrupting' children and promoting this 'sort-of-thing' to 'innocent' kids. A good example was an episode of the English soap opera 'Eastenders'. Some years ago they featured a few gay relationships within a short space of time. When a lesbian couple had their first screen kiss, everybody treated it very lightly and there was a lot of wink-wink nudge-nudge between people around the country. However when two men had their first screen kiss their was a national outcry, with people calling it sick and wrong and generally being bigots. Can you imagine the reaction if Xander or Giles were gay and their kisses were screened, I hate to think. I think Will and Tara are having a great romance and I'd hate to see it end (they all do at some point in Buffy). All the good relationships end in bvts, Buffy and Angel, Spike and Dru, Wesley and Cordelia(joke), and it's a damn shame cause they deserve some happiness. Later Days

You aren't very bright are you? You say people have the right to be whatever they want to be but you are atacking "homophobs". It is funny to see people like you express opions like this. It shows what total morons our educational process has produced. If someone doesn't like homosexuality than so be it. Why do you have to attack these people. I can accept everyone, I just choose to befriend those who have the same beliefs as I do. Are you just playing the politically correct card so you can make everyone happy. You can't make everyone happy, just ask Ben Laden.

I stand by what I said before People have a right to follow what ever sexual life they want to, be that hetro, homo or bi. HOWEVER just because people are granted these freedoms does not allow people to be Homophobic, Racist etc. I am sure that you could find more people out there who agree with what I say than those who agree with what you say. No my friend you are the only moron around here.

Looks like handbags at dawn for Mr. incorrect and Rogue. Let's keep it civil gentlemen, the original post was a question about Will and Tara, not really an excuse to start one of those annoying debate areas that go on for months. Say your peace and leave it alone boys. (By the way, looking at your spelling in your post Mr Correct, our education system really has produced some morons) Also, Who is Ben Laden? Does he live near you or something?

That's a good point Willow38, they really are very nice to each other all the time. When they argue in season five there seems to be no passion there, they should have a real fiery tempestuous fight with each other because if they stick together it would be a good test of there relationship. Although I suppose it would never happen as it would be a little too much out of character for both the Willow and Tara identities in the show. They are both the kind, sweet and shy ones of the group and when they write the episodes I suppose they don't want to rock the boat too much. Passion is the best part of a relationship as it keeps things interesting.

I have to disagree with you I think there was passion in their arguements in season 5. All the way through Season 5 there was afew little tiffs here and there but it came to a head in "Tough Love."
I think you see how passionate the arguement was when Willow while talking to Giles believes she has lost Tara for good.
If you dont think that this is true, then make sure to watch an up coming episode in the US when what I have said above is true...

You said it yourself rogue there were plenty of 'little tiffs' between Tara & Willow. That's all they seem to have, and the only way we can acknowledge that this was a particularly bad fight in 'Tough Love' is when Willow talks to Giles about it later. If the fight had been really passionate we would not have had to see Willow talking with Giles later to find this out, we would've known immediatly that they were having a real problem. Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to split or anything but to reiterate what I said earlier I think it should be more fiery, I want to get stressed out when they argue and feel like this could be the end of their relationship and then feel happy when they make up. Give me more passion Joss You may indeed prove me wrong Rogue but I won't know it until next year (I really wish I could recieve American TV somehow) when the series airs over here.

I am interested to find that people think there was no passion in Willow and Tara's quarrel. I'm English, and hey, it looked vicious enough to me. Not every quarrel needs shouting and violence.
What I dislike about Tara is that tee shirt she always wears - you know, the one with PLEASE WIPE FEET HERE printed on it. "Family" showed why she is like that, but come on Tara, get over it!

What's the fact that you are English got to do with how you percieve a passionate argument?
I'm English too and I thought the argument wasn't very passionate, so what?
I agree with you on the Tara front
If you act like a doormat you are going to get shat wiped on you.

What I dislike about Tara is the fact she's got a face like a slapped arse. Don't me wrong the whole Willow and Tara thing is great they're a super couple I just don't like the way she hangs around like a muppet, she needs to be written into the next series more be more actively involved

lol. I think that Amber Benson(Tara) looks better in real life, in the series I think she has to be 'dressed down' so that it's not just a show filled with beautiful people like every other American TV show in existance. Your right about being written in more, she's been in buffy now for the best part of two series ( remember people I'm in the UK so cannot count series 6) and has had one episode based around her, that's crap.

I think they should do another alternate reality episode so we can see the dark side of the recent characters, i'm sure most lads would enjoy seeing a kinky vamped up Willow and Tara playing tonsil tenis I would like to see more episodes based around the other characters, they could do a one off spin on Spike maybe on one the books like Pretty maids all in a row, whatcha y'all think???
